Sombr is a Los Angeles-based game studio focused purely on satisfying gameplay, integrity, and respect for the player’s intelligence. Our goal is to make the games that we want to play, and hopefully others do too.
Sombr was started in June of 2014 by Shadi Muklashy after working for three years at Adhesive Games on the title Hawken. In his spare time he worked on a prototype for Invisigun, and promising initial play tests led to pursuing the project to completion, which is Sombr Studio’s first title.
